SolTaf Children’s Home was started by our generous president Mahlet Solomon as she had a vision from God to work with children who live in poverty. Initially self-funded, SolTaf begun in 2014 with the establishment of the orphanage home in Nazaret, Ethiopia. At the time, the orphanage housed two children in dire need of a home. With the help of our caregiver and assistant, these kids were given a stable home and an opportunity for education. Since its establishment, the orphanage has served several children and currently we have four children under our care.

On July, 2015 SolTaf received its article of incorporation and 501(c)(3) from the Internal Revenue Service.

We are proud to announce that SolTaf Children’s Home has a strong Board of Directors who volunteer their time and commitment for the growth and development of SolTaf’s initiatives.

As part of our initiatives here in the US, SolTaf team has participated in many volunteer events in Atlanta, GA to assist the homeless, refugees and different runs for a cause. As we continue to grow and expand our service, we are delighted to have the support and encouragement of our community for our community to change individuals’ lives.
